Injuries have plagued Chris each of his three seasons on the Golden Eagle roster and limited his playing time...heads into the 2013-2014 season healthy and looking forward to having an impact... transfer from Middle Tennessee State in January 2009 and has been in the Tech camp for three rounds of spring drills...was a 2008 season redshirt at MTSU...has shown promise during his spring work...made the move from free safety to rover in 2009...hoping to return to action and add depth to the secondary in 2013.

AT TECH (In 2012): Dickerson played in only three of the 11 games for the Golden Eagles... his only tackle of the season was unassisted at Murray State on Sept. 29.

(In 2011): Saw action in four games, logging one tackle (unassisted) in the Golden Eagles' season opener at Iowa. Also made appearances against Maryville College on Sept. 8, at Jacksonville State on Oct. 29 and against Austin Peay in Tech's OVC Championship win on Oct. 29.

AT TECH (In 2010): Chris was on the field in a reserve role and on special teams during the first three games of the season, but an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the year...made one tackle in the game against Lane College in the rain.

AT TECH (In 2009):
Chris lined up at free safety in his first season in purple and gold and saw action in two games...made two tackles in his TTU debut against Pikeville...also played against Austin Peay...injury put him out of action for balance of season and all of 2010 spring work.

AT MTSU (In 2008): Was on the Blue Raider roster as a true freshman and sat out the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Hunters Lane High School...played a dual role for coach Dennis Moreno at Hunters Lane, lining up at outside linebacker and fullback...named all-state and all-region...won the team's Hard Hitter Award...as a senior, he recorded 155 total tackles, with five quarterback sacks and two interceptions...ranked in the state Top 10 for tackles...his tackle totals climbed every year, from 35 as a freshman to 56 as a sophomore and 96 in his junior season.

The son of Tim and Angie Dickerson...birthdate is May 28, 1989...full name is Christopher Letrell Dickerson...majoring in interdisciplinary studies with minor in criminal justice...father played at arch-rival Middle Tennessee State when the Blue Raiders were a member of the OVC.
